Santa and Mrs. Claus start their vacation off with a splash in Tempe!
Swimming with Santa returns to Kiwanis Recreation Center Dec. 27 – 28
TEMPE, Ariz. – Families looking for a fun and memorable way to thank Santa for his holiday cheer are invited to the 9th annual Swimming with Santa event on Friday, Dec. 27 and Saturday, Dec. 28 from 1-5 p.m. at the Kiwanis Recreation Center, 6111 S. All-America Way.
The young and young-at-heart are invited to join Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Kiwanis Recreation Center’s heated, indoor wave pool. From 1-3 p.m., ride the waves with Santa and thank him for his hard work. Take a break and enjoy complimentary cookies and milk while listening to Mrs. Claus telling stories. The waves will continue from 3-5 p.m.
Admission for the event is $6.25 for children ages 2-12 and $8.50 for ages 13 and older. Discount tickets will be available Nov. 20 through Dec. 21 at the Kiwanis Recreation Center’s front desk. The discount ticket prices are $5 for children ages 2-12 and $7 for ages 13 and older. Children under the age of 8 must have an adult with them within an arm’s length at all times while in the water.
