Wet ‘n’ Wild opens on a limited basis for the 2014 season on March 15th. It operates March 15 – 23 for Spring Break, and then weekends in April. (Map)
Golfland/SunSplash will have race cars, bumper boats and their six water slides open in 2014 from March 8th through March 30th from noon to 6 p.m. and on weekends until May 23rd when the full waterpark opens. Thunderfalls will be open Saturdays in March from 1 p.m. tp 6 p.m., and in April weekends only and Good Friday. (Map)
The indoor wave pool at Kiwanis Park in Tempe is open year-round (except during maintenance periods). It is a popular place during Spring Break! (Map)
Two pools in Chandler, the Hamilton Aquatic Center and the Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center, will be open. The Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center features a lap pool, diving area, two slides, water vortex, lazy river with tumble buckets, and a play area for kids. The Hamilton Aquatic Center features a lap pool, diving area, two slides, water vortex, current river and a play area for kids. Mesquite Groves will be open beginning March 8, 2014. Check here for Mesquite’s hours. Admission prices range from $1 to $2.25 per person. Hamilton will be open from March 8 – March 22, 2014. Hours will be Monday through Saturday from noon to 5 pm. Admission prices at both Chandler pools range from $1 to $2.25 per person.(Map)
Some other municipal public pools are also open. Check with your neighborhood parks and recreation department.
