Since January, former Meridian Elementary & Desert Ridge Junior High Student, 14-year-old Lydia Mecham, has bravely fought Leukemia. She’s used almost 40 blood units thus far and it jumped this week from 4 to 6 units.
In Her honor, Please Give the Gift of Life on Thursday, April 8, 3 to 8 PM, at the Hope for Lydia Blood Drive at the local church near Mountain Rd and Ray Rd (11121 East Ray Road, Mesa, AZ)
(It’s important to have all of the donation slots filled weeks before the drive so they can use their non-for-profit resources as efficiently as possible)
