Having arrived to Cary over a year ago I’d like to share why we made the move. I have many reasons for moving clear across the country with my young family to start my real estate career from scratch as a Realtor/Broker in Cary, NC.. I could write paragraphs for days on end, or bullet point reasons – either way it would take up piles of paper, or tons of space on this ‘blogosphere’ – Most of you really aren’t wondering that deeply anyhow so how about if I just share a short BIO of my real estate background.
I became a licensed sales person in the Greater Phoenix area in 1997 at age 24. I began at a large Re/Max office mentoring under my mother, after my first year we added an assistant & my side of the business began to rival hers. Although I was young, that energy carried me far and fast.
Between 2003-2006, I helped create and open a small boutique real estate firm for our team concept. My focus there was to recruit, train and mentor the agents we hired to succeed quickly. I enjoyed that day to day challenge and pace of business.
When my husband joined me in the business, we returned with our portion of the team to a high-producing Re/Max office and reinvented ourselves to survive the short sale, foreclosure wave that hit Phoenix in 2007. The next 3 years were a blur, we worked night and day – listing and selling homes for banks as REO listings… it wasn’t until recently that I realized how much our business model had changed.
There came a small moment in my career that I realized it was time for a huge change once again, time to reinvent ourselves… which was the basis of our move to Cary, NC.. a fresh, clean slate! Which is exactly what I was looking for… Real estate to become FUN again!
