Copper Basin is part of the Florence Unified School District. The District’s Mission Statement is to provide experiences that facilitate the growth of each student so that the student may lead a life, both now and in the future, that is personally satisfying and which contributes to and improves the society that sustains the individual throughout life.
Copper Basin K-8 elementary school is committed to helping each of their students succeed. Copper Basin K-8 also has an amazing PTO that organizes activities and fund raisers, as well as, constantly works to improve the quality of education at Copper Basin K-8.

Copper Basin YMCA
Located immediately adjacent to the elementary school, the Copper Basin YMCA, a Branch of the Valley of the Sun YMCA, is one of the anchor features of this community. The Copper Basin YMCA has been serving the community for over 7 years. YMCA members come in all shapes and sizes, ages and abilities and to participate in programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body. They come for the caring, experienced staff, to make new friends, and a chance to help others. Our members enjoy state-of-the-art exercise equipment, Outdoor heated swimming pool along with various programs designed for all members of the community. Most of all, they come to experience the sense of community and well being that a YMCA membership is all about.

All homeowners of The Village of Copper Basin received an Aquatic Membership, entitling them and their family to full use of the aquatic facilities at the YMCA.
